Ring loud and empty into ears holding camouflage masks, 
Badging in and out of roles their right hands committed to, 
Sewing name tapes on daily, yet 
Existing alone as integers disintegrated, 
Unable to bring whole selves to the fight, 
Dueling duality before limping into the battle.
Half-lives hasten disintegration,
But you created space to breathe.
